which cat breed is right for me?

Congratulation you have decided to adopt a cat, but how you will know which cat is
the right cat for you?

In pedigree cats you can see tendency to a specific character, for example:
Ragdoll cats they are relatively calm cats and very good with children, Siamese cats
and other oriental cats has a tendency to be more loud then others.
Another think to consider is the amount of care the cat need, Persian cats or other cats with long or medium fur, needs frequent brushing or haircut every period.
Responsible breeder check the parents for genetics and infectious diseases, but not all
the cats are being checked like these, therefore you should check which diseases are common to your preferred breed, and which breeder do run them.

Like in human there are cats with different characters, therefore before you choose a cat you should think about your lifestyle and preferences, if you prefer a cat that will set all
day on your lap or a cat that will be happy if you live him alone.

A kitten under the age 3 months that was separated from is mother and brothers likely to develop behavior problems, responsible breeders don’t sell their kittens under this age.
The relationship between the kitten and his mother and brothers are important to his normal behavior, kittens that are separated too early don’t learn "cat manners" in a
proper way, and they likely to be aggressive towered people or animals.
You can adopt an orphan or a bended kitten even in earlier age, but it is important to be aware of the age on the behavior.
Kittens tend to be much more active then adult cats, this behavior decrease with the
years, but if you don’t have the time to play with the kitten every few hours, in this case
perhaps it is better for you to consider adopting an adult cat that is calmer.
An adult cat is attached to his territory, so moving him to a new home is difficult to him.
You can ease this difficulty by bringing familiar objects from his old home.
It is best for you to see him in his old home, that way you can watch his behavior

And than you can see why they are giving him up, for example if the owners have
scratches on them maybe the cat is aggressive towered them, there is a chance he
will be aggressive towered you,
if there is a urine smell or stains in this home, it is likely that the cat is not using the litter box.

An additional consideration is the animals that live with you in your house, if you have
a cat he might not like this cat, if you have a dog you have to make sure he will not be aggressive towered the cat, it is recommended to adopt a cat that was raise with a dog.
If you have a bird or rabbit or other rodents, even they are safe in their cage they will
live in constant fear.

Little children not always know how to behave with animals, they might pull the cat tail
or to chase him, it is important to know that a cat that feel frightened may attack even
the chilled did not touched him.
